LEGEND OF THE SEA WITCH

Some legends are born from truth. Others are born from betrayal.

When an ancient curse begins to stir beneath the sea, forgotten secrets rise with it—and one woman is drawn toward a destiny she never imagined.

ENTRY No. 001 — THE LEGEND RETURNS

Some legends are warnings. Others are promises. And some refuse to stay buried.

Across the sea, whispers still linger of the Sea Witch—a woman whose name has passed from history into myth, carried from port to port in sailors’ tales and spoken cautiously beneath the glow of tavern lanterns. To some, she was a monster. To others, a victim. But the truth of what happened long ago has been obscured by time, fear, and those who had every reason to make certain it remained forgotten.

Now, the past is stirring.

Old secrets begin surfacing, forgotten histories refuse to remain silent, and the boundary between legend and truth grows dangerously thin. What begins as a journey into the mysteries surrounding the Sea Witch soon becomes something far greater—a voyage through betrayal, courage, forbidden truths, unexpected alliances, and a legacy powerful enough to reach across generations.

But legends rarely survive unchanged.

To uncover what truly happened, the past must be followed into dangerous waters, where ancient grudges still have consequences and not every monster is what history claimed it to be.

Because somewhere beyond the safety of shore, the truth is waiting.

And the sea remembers everything.

Welcome to Legend of the Sea Witch.

KNOWN HISTORY
There are ships remembered for the battles they fought, ships remembered for the treasures they carried, and ships remembered because they simply refused to die.

The Sea Witch belongs to the last kind.

Her timbers have survived storms that swallowed lesser vessels, her decks have borne witness to bloodshed, betrayal, and impossible voyages, and her name has traveled farther than any official registry could account for.

Sailors know her silhouette.

Pirates know her reputation.

And those who understand the oldest legends know better than to assume she is merely a ship.

Some vessels carry cargo. The Sea Witch carries history.

CHART No. 001 — WATERS OF LEGEND

KNOWN WATERS

These are seas crossed by merchants, naval vessels, fishermen, and pirates. Their currents have been charted, their ports named, and their dangers recorded.

Mostly.

Beyond the familiar shipping lanes lie older waters—places where maps disagree, compasses become unreliable, and sailors begin paying considerably more attention to the stories they once dismissed as superstition.

The Sea Witch has sailed farther into those waters than most vessels would dare.

And she has returned.

PLACES OF NOTE

This is where I want to be careful with your actual novel canon. Rather than inventing locations and accidentally putting something on the website that isn’t in the published book, we should use the real locations from Legend of the Sea Witch.

[LOCATION NAME]
Classification: Port / Island / Kingdom / Open Sea / Restricted Waters

Two or three intriguing sentences—enough to make someone want to discover what happens there, without spoiling anything.

CARTOGRAPHER’S NOTE

There are places marked upon every respectable chart.

There are places marked only upon forbidden ones.

And there are places sailors know better than to mark at all.

The Sea Witch has visited all three.

A Note from Raven Jade

Legend of the Sea Witch began with something I have always loved—the idea that legends are rarely as simple as the stories history leaves behind.

I wanted to tell a story filled with adventure, mystery, danger, and the lure of the sea, but at its heart, I also wanted to explore the people hidden behind the legend. What happens when the story everyone believes is not the whole story? What happens when the past refuses to remain buried?

Captain Wakelyn and the crew of the Sea Witch took me farther than I expected when I first began their journey. They became more than characters aboard a ship. They became a family bound together by loyalty, loss, courage, secrets, and the choices they make when the sea gives them nowhere left to run.

And somewhere along the way, the Sea Witch herself became more than a vessel.

She became part of the legend.

I hope that when you step aboard, you feel the salt in the air, hear the timbers beneath your feet, and wonder—just for a moment—what might be waiting beyond the horizon.

Thank you for sailing with me.

Then I would give it some breathing room and a separator.

After that, we can place the BUY THE BOOK artwork. That creates a much better emotional sequence than putting the sales material first:

Explore the world → meet the characters → discover the ship → explore the maps → hear from Raven → then be invited to read the novel.
